ABOUT THE NURSING COLLEGE

 

SHEIKH FAZILATUNNESSA MUJIB MEMORIAL KPJ NURSING COLLEGE has been named after Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib to pay tribute to the great lady and recognize her unique contribution at every stage of the liberation struggle through her continuous inspiration

 

To continue further in the nation goal of ensuring adequate health care facilities and healthcare professionals, Prime  Minister Sheikh Hasina on January 14, 2011 laid the foundation stone of the 250-bed  hospital & Nursing College built on 6 acres of land at Tatuibari, Gazipur at a cost of Tk 2.15 billion.

 

Joint collaboration

The  Bangabandhu Sheikh  Mujib Memorial Trust has  selected a  Malaysian Company ,KPJ Healthcare

•Berhad to be the initial operators for both the Hospital and the Nursing College.

 

The inaugural  signing ceremony by the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, who is  also the President of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Trust,was held on the18 November 2013,with the presence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
